IP Scanning & Device Discovery Overview

The IP Scan feature in LōD makes it simple to detect and load all ASIC miners on your network automatically. By configuring an IP range and adding device credentials, you can quickly import every miner into your dashboard for monitoring and management.

Key Steps Covered in the Video

• Verify Agent Status
  Navigate to IoT → ASICs and confirm that your Agent is online.
  The agent must be active to perform an IP scan.

• Create a New IP Scan
  Click IP Search Space → Create New.

  • If multiple agents exist, select the appropriate one.

  • Name the scan descriptively (e.g., Building 2 Scan).

• Define IP Range
  Enter the range of IP addresses where your miners are located.
  Example:

  • Starting IP: 10.245.110.1

  • Ending IP: 10.245.111.254
    This tells LōD where to look for devices on your network.

• Add Credentials
  Input your miner username and password combinations so LōD can authenticate during the scan.

  • Common credentials include admin/admin or root/root.

  • Add multiple credentials if your devices use different login details.

• Run the Scan
  After confirming your IP range and credentials, click Create to launch the scan.
  Within a few minutes, miners within that IP range will begin appearing in your dashboard under the selected agent.
