How to Generate CSV & Excel Reports for a Certain Period

Generating and Exporting P&L Reports

This guide explains how to generate and export P&L reports in LōD.

Once signed into your account, navigate to Reports → P&L. By default, the page displays a generalized daily report for the previous month. To adjust the data shown, select Modify Report.

Report Configuration Options

  • Time Zone
    Ensure your time zone is set correctly. This impacts how your data aligns with your operational hours and may differ from the site’s local time.

  • Start & End Dates
    Choose the reporting window you want to analyze. LōD retains long-term historical data, allowing you to pull reports for a single day, several months, or even years.

  • Electricity Price
    If you are using the Energy Module, your region and node will auto-populate (e.g., ERCOT – Load Zone West).
    If you operate under a fixed-rate model, select Fixed and enter your cost per kWh.

  • Interval
    Select the granularity of your data: Daily, Hourly, or 15-minute intervals depending on your reporting needs.

  • Additional Costs
    Add any fixed or variable costs you want included, such as salaries, surcharges, or supplemental per-kWh fees.


Exporting Your Report

If you want to export only specific rows, select them from the table and choose Export → CSV to download only the highlighted data.

To export the full dataset:

  1. Click the All Data tab.

  2. Select Export via CSV or Export via Excel.

    Note: Avoid manually selecting all rows in the table view. The table may only load the first 10 rows unless expanded, even if the report contains dozens of entries. Using the All Data export options ensures the full dataset is included.
